Ultimate Pond Bacteria is highly concentrated LIVE natural bacteria. Designed to reduce muck and sludge caused by rotting leaves, fish waste, waterfowl, dead algae and rotting vegetation. If this muck and sludge goes untreated, nutrients will be released into the water column causing poor water quality and foul odors. Once applied, Ultimate Pond Bacteria is active immediately and will begin to break down muck and sludge into an odorless gas that will simply escape out of the water column unnoticed. Ultimate Pond Bacteria is super concentrated and formulated for large ponds but also works great in water gardens, koi ponds and other water features. Water treated with Ultimate Pond Bacteria may be used for recreation, fishing and other activities immediately after treatment. It may also be used in decorative water gardens, Koi ponds and other fish ponds and will not harm Koi, goldfish or ornamental plants or wildlife. Do not apply to water that will be used for human consumption. HOW TO APPLY: Shake bottle before each use, apply product directly from container into pond – no mixing required. WHEN TO APPLY: For best results, begin in early spring and apply when water temperatures are above 50°F. STORAGE AND HANDLING: Keep product in original container and closed when not in use. Store in a cool, dry place. Do not allow it to freeze. Wash with soap and water after use.
