If you introduce new corals to the tank, can acclimate them accordingly by slowly increasing the brightness levels over time.

Question: How to set the timer?
Answer: Please kindly follow the manual instruction in the package which introduces how to set up the light with control knob or remote. If you are unable to set the timer, please feel free to reach us directly through Amazon message. Our friendly customer support team will walk you through the steps on how to set up the timer.
Question: How to raise the light up or lower the hanging height with the hanging kit?
Answer: You need to press on the top of the cylinder head while moving down the cords. This will allow you to adjust up/down for the hanging kit. You can adjust to the height by simply pulling the loose rope end. To release, depress the spring button pull it down. Please kindly refer to the 5th picture in the product images of the listing for 165W LED Aquarium Light.
Question: Does the timer work as a ramp timer? Can I set different intensities throughout the day?
Answer: The timer doesn’t work as a ramp timer and it can not be set different intensities throughout the day. No shimmer effect or sunrise/sunset effects. The timer can turn the light on and off automatically and set different intensities for two channels (blue and white channels) individually.
Question: How can reset the timer to the default setting?
Answer: Press the direction keys on the remote control, Up, Down, Left, Right (↑, ↓, ←, →）one by one and quickly reset the setting. When display 8888 on LCD screen, that’s means you restore to facotory setting succesfully.
Question: When setting ch1 and ch2 dim settings. Do the settings save for when the timer comes back on the next day?
Answer: When you successfully set the time and intensity, they will be save and run as per your setting.

Quick Set:
After out of the box and plugged in, the light turns on in auto cycle. You can alter the time for the daylight and moonlight cycles. Then place it on top of your aquarium and leave it. The light runs automatically by default setting.
However, if you find 6:30 am lights on is too early, you can change time and moonlight preset light color. For details, please see the user manual.
MULTIPLE FUNCTIONS
24 HOUR AUTO CYCLE
In default auto cycle, you can use daylight and moonlight option to create your own custom 24 hours light cycle, altering auto on /off time, adjusting light color and intensity for moonlight option.
Preset lighting auto turns on at 6:30 AM and auto turn off at 11:30 PM. The light can be set to turn on and off at the designated time which allows your fish get some rest at night.
Daylight light color: white full spectrum light. You cannot choose colors or brightness.
Moonlight preset color: blue. You can alter brightness and light color.
FINE TUNE LIGHTING
At the daylight and moonlight mode, it can be programmed into fine tune lighting mode.
White full spectrum light with RGB LEDs. The middle arrays of RGB LEDs can be turned into blue, red or green by pressing “light setting” button. This function allows aquarium hobbyists to adjust the best result according to its need.
Reset local time can programmed back to default setting.
COLOR GRADIENT LOOP
At the daylight and moonlight modes, it can be programmed into color gradient loop mode.
Keeps pressing “Light setting” button until lighting mode switch into dark red lighting mode, color gradient cycle begins. The middle arrays of RGB LEDs slow turns from red into purple, blue, cyan, green, yellow to orange, continuous circulation of color gradient.
DIY CYCLE
In ‘DIY mode’, you can use eight time slots to create your own custom 24-hour light cycle, adjusting ‘on/off’ and light intensity for each slot. DIY mode is full spectrum only. You cannot choose colors, you can only alter the brightness at certain time periods.
after finish the DIY mode setting, please remember to reset local time to activate DIY setting.
In order to use DIY mode, the auto cycle must be turned off.
To keep a specific time range light out, just set the brightness into 00.
LCD DISPLAY TIMER
Integrated timer allows multi-function (daylight, moonlight time setting, custom light color and intensity, fine tune lighting, color gradient loop, diy mode) realizable.
The timer provides a slow ramp up and down that prevents light shock, gently acclimates fish to bright lighting. Memory function keeps local time in sync, remembers the programming of daylight moonlight mode and DIY mode , except for fine tune lighting mode and color gradient loop schedule.

There are more brightness options from 10-100%. Each press can increase 10% brightness divided. When come to max, it will start again from 10% brightness. Add divided adjust brightness color beads, no need to pair with the external timer&dimmer.
3 Lighting Modes:white/ blue/ blue&white
It has 3 lighting modes on the switch: a white light, a blue light, a blue&white light. Mode I : Only 9 white lights on. Mode II : Only 9 blue on. Mode III：9 white and 9 blue lights all on. Very bright light which will be great for the shrimp / beta tank.
6/10/12H Timing Periods Everyday
You can keep the light on for about 6/10/12 hours and then lights out completely for the rest of the night. Each period working will show different color indicator light. 6H is blue color, 10H is green color, 12H is red color.
